According to the report, Amnesty examined\u00a02,596 shipments\u00a0and claims that Indian firms supplied hundreds of thousands of weapon parts, explosive ordnance components, and military vehicle parts to Israeli defence companies during the ongoing Gaza conflict. The organization argues that the actual volume of exports may be even higher because some shipments could not be verified.\u00a0<\/p><p>The report further states that several Indian public sector and private companies are part of Israel&#8217;s defence supply chain. Amnesty contends that these exports continued despite repeated warnings from international bodies regarding alleged <a href=\"Amnesty%20International%20Report%20Alleges%20India%20Supplied%20Arms%20to%20Israel%20During%20Gaza%20Conflict\">violations of international humanitarian law in Gaza.<\/a> It calls upon the Government of India and Indian companies to suspend all transfers of arms, ammunition, and related military equipment to Israel and to end business relationships with certain Israeli defence manufacturers.\u00a0<\/p><p>The Indian Government has not publicly responded to the <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/news\/india\/mea-says-indias-dual-use-exports-comply-with-laws-after-amnesty-report\/articleshow\/132771171.cms?utm_source=chatgpt.com&amp;from=mdr\">report&#8217;s findings<\/a> at the time of its publication. Amnesty says it wrote to the Ministry of Defence, <a href=\"https:\/\/m.economictimes.com\/news\/india\/mea-says-indias-dual-use-exports-comply-with-laws-after-amnesty-report\/articleshow\/132771171.cms?utm_source=chatgpt.com\">the Directorate General of Foreign Trade<\/a>, and the companies named in the report before publication but did not receive responses. The report is likely to add to the ongoing international debate on arms exports, corporate responsibility, and states&#8217; obligations under international humanitarian law.<\/p><p><strong>This compels us to question how<\/strong>\u00a0India\u2019s historical commitment to anti-colonialism, Palestinian self-determination and international peace would compromise with such action If its stance has shifted, India must explain whether strategic interests with Israel now outweigh its longstanding humanitarian commitments, and what that means for its credibility on international law and human
